I\’m fixing to order a tin of harney\’s hot cinnamon spice for the office and thought I\’d try another harney flavor before I make the purchase (in case I wanna grab more of whatever I try).
I looked them all over, and it\’s fucking cold out, so I wanted to try a black tea that I can sweeten up real nice.
I chose paris.
y\’all. Y\’ALL. it smells amaaaaaazing.
I can\’t place it, but it smells familiar somehow.
I\’m sitting here just sniffing the tin and, while I\’m not remembering what it reminds me of, it\’s an entirely pleasant experience.
the ingredients are:
black tea, oolong tea, black currant flavor, vanilla flavor, bergamot oil, caramel flavor.
I don\’t think it\’s the bergamot oil, it smells thicker?
I know, that doesn\’t make any sense.
/shrug
the aroma after steeping has greatly diminished, but the taste… it\’s like drinking the smell of the leaves.
I think I am gonna order more of this.
well, I know I am.
but not right now. I\’ll have the cinnamon for work and I have such a variety to choose from at home.
once things have settled down I will def be ordering more.
it\’s odd.
I had expected to be ordering a ton of stuff from davidstea and adagio,
but I may end up a harney girl.
we\’ll see.
